Registration Opens for Bank Street’s Diverse Voices in LatinX Children’s Literature Mini-Conference in March
Registration is now open for Bank Street’s Diverse Voices in Latinx Children’s Literature mini-conference, Saturday, March 9. This conference will be in English. The conference is meant for English and Spanish speaking librarians, educators, parents etc. who want to expand their base of knowledge and better serve their populations. The wonderful author/illustrator Duncan Tonatiuh will be travelling from San Miguel de Allende, Mexico to be the keynote speaker. The biggest names in Latinx graphic novels and comics, picture books and middle grade novels today will be panelists. Loida Garcia-Febo, President of the American Library Association will make opening remarks.
