National Recycling Day

CBC Celebrates will explore stories that relate to specific holidays so that kid, and adult, readers can celebrate in the best way we know how… with a good book!

On National Recycling Day (November 15), we celebrate by sorting our paper, aluminum, and glass out of the trash to help the environment. Our planet needs help to keep its oceans and lands clean, so we can do small things like picking up trash or even reusing the products that would otherwise go to waste. Whether you make a cardboard castle or pick up plastics on the beach today, let’s help Mother Earth stay green and reduce, reuse, and recycle.
