The United States Postal Service issued a new Forever stamp of Toni Morrison on March 7. Every Child a Reader and Simon & Schuster are excited to promote this stamp, promote Toni’s contribution to children’s literature, and promote Children’s Book Week in May.

Tying into this wonderful occasion will be the use of the new Toni Morrison stamp for the official Children’s Book Week poster mailing. 2,500 teachers, librarians, and booksellers will receive 2 copies of Rilla Alexander’s poster in advance of the May 1-7 Children’s Book Week national celebration.
We are continuing a five-year tradition of the Children’s Book Week envelopes featuring a wide range of USPS stamps celebrating A Snowy Day, the 19th Amendment, Voices of the Harlem Renaissance, the passage of Title IX, and more.
