YALLWEST
The organizers that brought us YALLFEST, the Charleston Young Adult Book Festival,
have announced the launch of a West Coast-based sister event. The inaugural YALLWEST will be held in Santa Monica, California from April 11th-12th, 2015. YALLFEST will take place in South Carolina from November 13th-14th, 2015.
So far, the following authors have signed on to take part in the first-ever YALLWEST:
Holly Goldberg Sloan, Pseudonymous Bosch, Brendan Reichs, Tahereh Mafi, Margaret Stohl, Marie Lu,Ransom Riggs, Leigh Bardugo, and Melissa de la Cruz. Librarian Robert Graves has announced that he will develop programming for the event.
