Cat in the Night

Cat in the Night

by Madeleine Dunphy

Cat in the Night is about a cat that goes outside and has adventures in the neighborhood while his owner, a little girl, sleeps. Children will experience the world through the cat’s eyes, ears, nose, whiskers, and feet as he travels the neighborhood meeting up with other nocturnal animals, such as a skunk, a mouse, an opossum, a couple of raccoons, and ultimately another cat. The last page of the book, “More About Cats,” gives further information about cats’ senses.
