Down the Rabbit Hole and Beyond: Four Children’s Classics Revisted with Leonard S. Marcus
Join children’s literary scholar Leonard S. Marcus for a class exploring the back-stories and legacy of four classics: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, The Wind in the Willows, Peter Pan and The Secret Garden.
Classes meet on four Wednesdays, February 11 and 25 and March 11 and 25, from 6:30-8:30 pm at the 92nd Street Y. The cost of registration is $400.
Leonard S. Marcus is one of the children’s book world’s most respected writers, historians and critics. He is the author of books on Ralph Caldecott, Maurice Sendak and Madeline L’Engle, among others, as well as the curator of The ABC of It: Why Children’s Books Matter at the New York Public Library.
