How does horror work? Find out with R.L. Stine and Joseph LeDoux!
The Rubin Museum of Art will be screening a taped conversation with R.L. Stine — author of over 300 horror novels and known fondly as the “Stephen King of children’s literature” — and NYU neuroscientist Joseph LeDoux (The Emotional Brain), a leading researcher on fear.
In the film, part of the Rubin’s “Lunch Matters” series, the two discuss how terror is understood by the brain.
Tickets are $10.
