National Science Teachers Association
The National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), founded in 1944, is the largest organization in the world committed to promoting excellence and innovation in science teaching and learning for all.
Since 1973, the CBC and NSTA have developed the annual Outstanding Science Trade Books for Students K-12, a list representing the year’s best books for science classrooms, chosen by science educators. In 2017, they expanded their partnership with the creation of the Best STEM Books joint project that aims to provide recommendations to educators, librarians, parents, and guardians for the best children’s books with STEM content.
