11th Annual Extreme Trivia Challenge! | November 13, 2014

Congratulations Team 2, champions of kid lit and Golden Bunny trophy winners in this year’s Early Career Committee Extreme Trivia Challenge!
The ECC’s 11th Annual Extreme Trivia Challenge was held at Scholastic’s headquarters on Wednesday, November 5. More than 50 children’s-book-publishing staffers from diverse houses gathered to contend for the glorious Golden Bunny trophies, in our signature contest of children’s literature knowledge.
The evening was co-emceed by amazing author duo E. Lockhart and Sarah Mlynowski, who deftly guided competitors through the contest. Trivia questions flew fast and furious, especially during the “Quick Like a Bunny” rounds, and concluded with a fierce Jeopardy round. Team 2 managed to pull off a close win and take home the Golden Bunny trophies, as well as signed copies of We Were Liars and a book in the Whatever After series.
Three things we learned this year that we did not know before!
1) E. Lockhart has been published by a whole lot of different houses and imprints in her illustrious career
2) Sarah really needs to brush up on her classic kid lit. On her to-read list: Anne of Green Gables, The Chronicles of Narnia, Little House on the Prairie
3) The truth about Stacey is more terrible than you remember
