The Children’s Book Council (CBC) is the nonprofit trade association of children’s book publishers in North America, dedicated to promoting children’s books and reading. The CBC manages the national programs of the award-winning non-profit Every Child a Reader, home of Children's Book Week, the longest running national celebration of reading for over 100 years, and Get Caught Reading, a classroom and library role model poster program for over 25 years.
