7th Annual Horace Mann Upstanders Book Award and Children’s Literature Conference
This year’s 7th annual Upstanders Book Award and Children’s Literature Conference will take place at The Wildwood School. Highlights will include author and illustrator appearances, and breakout sessions.
The award winners for 2014 are Anne Ursu, Paul Fleischman, and Linda Christensen, as well as Rethinking Schools. Previous winners include: Tomie dePaola, Henry Cole, Luis Rodriguez, Innosanto Nagara, Greg Neri, Nikki Grimes, Paul Fleischman, Susan Patron, and more.
