National Ambassador Kate DiCamillo Tours Washington State
Kate DiCamillo continues to tour the country as National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature, spreading a love of reading to children of all ages. Her next tour stop is Washington State.
On February 25, DiCamillo will appear at the Seattle Public Library to meet with children who have competed in the Library’s Global Reading Challenge. At 7 PM, in an event open to the public, she will deliver a speech and hold a Q&A and book signing.
The following day, February 26, the National Ambassador is scheduled to meet with over 250 4th graders from Bainbridge Island’s public schools. At 7pm, she will hold a public event at Bainbridge High school, followed by a book signing.
Finally, on February 27-28, DiCamillo will be attending Western Washington University’s 2015 Children’s Literature Conference.
