NYPL Children’s Literary Salon: Children’s Book Week – Its Past, Present, and Future
Established in 1919, Children’s Book Week is the longest-running national literacy initiative in the country. Each year, official events give kids the opportunity to connect with their favorite authors and illustrators in person. Join Children’s Book Council (CBC) Communications Director Nicole Deming at the NYPL as she discusses both the history and the latest initiatives of this very special event.
