The Inaugural Walter Awards
The winners of this years’ award were Jason Reynolds and Brendan Kiely, authors of All American Boys (Atheneum/Caitlyn Dlouhy Books). Honorees included Kekla Magoon, Ilyasah Shabazz, and Margarita Engle.
