Camera Day
The Funtastic Festivities Booklists compile stories that relate to fun and festive days so that readers of all ages can join the celebration with a good book!
On National Camera Day (6/29), we celebrate capturing the special and the mundane moments in life with photography and video. Whether fiction or real life, we can record events and memories with cameras for ourselves or to show off to others. Since their invention in 1816, cameras have evolved beyond a static impression, today we’re able to customize photos with filters and edit videos on the go to make them as personal as we need. Let’s grab a book and camera this week to celebrate what we can capture with a camera in hand!
