Adventure Ahoy! In Classrooms and Libraries (Thursday, March 2 at 3:30 PM)
The adventures available via sequential art offer readers a unique combination of visual storytelling combined with their own imaginations. Librarians and educators can stimulate readers with tales of dinosaur buddies, spooky mysteries, magic, and pirates!

The stories and characters in these graphic novels provide opportunities for understanding and vehicles for discussion, as well as being resources for educators and librarians. The session will touch on a variety of experiences readers may encounter – grief and loss, the power of storytelling, oppression, and challenges of friendship.
