All Together Now! Find Your Voice!
The CBC Graphic Novel Committee presents our sixth San Diego Comic-Con 2023 panel: All Together Now! Find Your Voice!
This panel discusses the power of graphic novels in bringing readers together and helping them discover who they are or want to be. The authors talk about how they use comics and graphic novels as a way to understand people better. Or maybe find friend groups from others who have read the books. Whether it’s community stories centered around kindness, friendship, and unity OR exploring the way voices have the power to share stories, express individuality, and spark change, graphic novels offer stories to connect and inspire. Watch as they share how these themes resonate in the works of these authors and more.
Moderator:
- Christina E. Taylor – Youth Services Consultant, Texas State Library and Archives Commission
Panelists:

- Sarah Sax (Picture Day) – Random House Children’s Books
- Steenz (Lost and Found (Book #2 of Heart of the City)) – Andrews McMeel Publishing
