Authors & Books Announced For BEA's Editors' Buzz Forums
Norwalk, CT — BookExpo America (BEA) has revealed the authors and books that have been selected for this year’s Editors’ Buzz Forums. Three separate committees of booksellers, librarians and other industry professionals have reviewed the numerous submissions in each category and voted for this year’s final selections. BEA officials note that the intensive selection process, which takes place over a two and a half month period, always involves passionate debate over the amount of qualified books submitted for consideration. The selection committees are purposely designed to achieve the widest possible consensus.
The Buzz panel presentations, which feature book editors discussing the individual selections, will be supplemented with an Author Stage appearance for the chosen authors. BEA will take place Wednesday, May 27 – Friday, May 29 at the Jacob K. Javits Center.
