Megan joined Little, Brown Books for Young Readers more than 25 years ago, and since becoming Publisher in 2006, she has led the division to tremendous growth and success in all categories including young adult novels, middle-grade novels, creative merchandise, movie and TV tie-ins, picture books, and nonfiction. With her guidance, the LBYR has become the home to an extraordinary array of admired and best-selling writers, including Sherman Alexie, Julie Andrews and Emma Walton Hamilton, Libba Bray, Cornelia Funke, Todd Parr, Jerry Pinkney, and Lemony Snicket. With Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight saga, Megan oversaw the publication of one of the most successful and influential series of novels in the past decade. The division’s excellent publication of James Patterson’s numerous series has reached millions of avid young readers. Under her leadership the division has published a record number of New York Times bestsellers across all categories, and in the past five years, LBYR has had winners and finalists in all the key awards: Caldecott, Newbery, Printz, and National Book Award.
