On May 17 we mark the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia. This date recalls the day in 1990 when the World Health Organization no longer labeled homosexuality as a mental health disorder. Transsexuality is still classified as a psychiatric disorder so there is still work to be done.
