Celebrating Native Voices Every Day

Native Voices Books and 7th Generation are privileged to honor Native Americans, not only on Indigenous Peoples’ Day but also every day of the year. By collaborating with Indigenous authors and illustrators who use their talents and wisdom to create culturally authentic works of fiction and nonfiction, we are able to offer titles that help young people explore the unique customs and traditions of many Native American nations.
Our line of children’s books provides engaging Indigenous tales along with gorgeous full-color pictures. This enduring compilation presents both factual and historical representations of Native Americans.
- The compelling PathFinders collection of hi-lo YA novels gives young readers a glimpse into the lives of present-day Native American teens.
- Our YA Native Trailblazers Series features powerful, inspiring biographies of contemporary Native American and Indigenous changemakers.
We recommend our titles for classrooms and libraries so that young readers can discover and appreciate the richness and diversity of Native American cultures.
Please check out Native Voices and 7th Generation and their amazing collection of books. The CBC also has Get Caught Reading posters for Indigenous People’s Day and some wonderful resources like the Indigenous & Native Peoples Books and Resources.
